01
Use communication for authorized work
Mnera combines persistent chat, voice, and video with the permission-filtered story of work. Use those channels only with people you are authorized to contact and only for information you are authorized to share. A Work Story permission is not permission to expose another person's private information.
02
Content and conduct that are not allowed
- Harassment, bullying, credible threats, or encouragement of harm.
- Hate or abuse directed at a protected person or group.
- Sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors, or other illegal content.
- Doxxing, non-consensual intimate content, or disclosure of private credentials.
- Impersonation, fraud, spam, malware, or attempts to evade safety controls.
- Repeated unwanted contact after a person has asked it to stop.
If someone may be in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service. An in-app report is not an emergency response channel.
03
Report a concern
A signed-in participant can report a particular chat message, meeting participant, or meeting. Choose the closest reason and add no free-text note. The report record contains only its target identifier and the chosen category; it does not copy the chat message or transcript. When review genuinely requires context, an authorized Mnera moderator can request the smallest available excerpt from the governed source. Every such access is recorded, and erased or unavailable source context is not reconstructed.
Reports are assessed in context. Submitting a report does not automatically make either person's claim authoritative and does not authorize retaliation. The app shows a report reference after submission; keep it if you may need support to locate the report or request review of a later decision.
04
Block unwanted contact
Mnera shows the effect before a block is confirmed. A confirmed block stops new direct chat and meeting contact between the two people and removes that relationship from an active meeting. Mnera does not reveal which person created the block. Unblocking is a separate, explicit choice.
Blocking does not silently erase governed records, revoke a connected source, or change another person's independent work permissions. Use the appropriate source-revocation, Forget, or account process for those separate choices.
An active block remains while needed to enforce the person's choice. After removal, its identifying references are scheduled for minimization after 30 days. An open report remains while it is assessed; after resolution or dismissal, its identifying references are scheduled for minimization after 180 days. A valid legal-preservation hold pauses that schedule until the hold is lifted.
05
How Mnera responds
Authorized moderators can place a report in review, resolve it, or dismiss it with a recorded reason. The queue itself remains content-free; contextual access is separate and auditable. Depending on severity and evidence, Mnera may warn a participant, limit communication, suspend access, preserve evidence required for safety or a valid legal obligation, or refer an immediate risk to the appropriate authority. Access may be limited while a serious concern is assessed.
A participant may ask Mnera to review a moderation or access decision through mnera.online/support and the dedicated support@mnera.online mailbox assigned to the controlled beta's human support monitor. Include the report reference shown by the app, but do not include passwords, one-time codes, or unrelated workplace content.
06
Acceptance and changes
Mnera records the accepted policy version and time before person-to-person communication is enabled. If these rules change materially, Mnera will present the new version for acceptance. Declining a new version leaves communication disabled without silently accepting it on a person's behalf.
The Privacy & Stewardship statement explains how account, communication, safety, retention, and deletion records are handled.
